Today, email is used in many types of situations... (1st question)

What are your expectations of the email's content in this situation?

  1. Registor: The letter should be written in a formal and polite manner.
    Tone: The letter should not have a tone which suggest demands, rudeness or shouting e.t.c

  3. The letter should have be polite and have appropriate language no matter who it is.If it is a formal letter you should not demand anything and should ask politely while in informal it is according to the relationship with the other person

  4. The letter should always have a polite way of addressing and writing in both formal and informal letter writing. The content of both way of letter writing is based on the current situations. The letter should bring out the emotions that the writer wishes to bring out to the receiver.

  5. The letter should have proper salutation (Mr, Ms etc.) and should be serious and at the same time polite. The tone should be courteous and not contain any tinge of rudeness. The tone and register should be tailored to the context and purpose.

  6. The letter should be written in a formal and very polite way as this was the letter was written to a teacher who is a higher authority. There should not be any element of rudeness in this letter and it should not have a very demanding tone.

  11. I expect to tone to bear a form of respect (not condescending tones) and language befit my status as a teacher. If the letter was rude, I will not accept whatever he is asking and just throw it out of the window.
